Terms & Conditions

Payment Method: A valid Visa or MasterCard (16-digit number) is necessary for the booking.

Upon receiving the bicycles, both TEMPO CYCLE HUB SL and the Client agree to the following:

  1. Bike Condition: Bicycles are well-maintained and in good working order, which the Client can verify. They must be returned in the same condition.
  2. Booking and Payment:
    • All bookings must be made in advance. A deposit of 50% will be required to secure your guide.
    • Payment is due in full 72hs prior to the start of the guided tour.
  3. Helmet Requirement: The use of a helmet is mandatory and must be worn on all main roads as per Spanish road safety laws. Not wearing a helmet may lead to police fines. If helmet rental is needed, arrangements must be made in advance. 
  4. Exclusive Use: The bicycles are for the Client’s use only and cannot be rented out to others.
  5. Return Policy: The bike must be returned on the specified date and time provided at the time of collection/delivery.
  6. The bicycle must be returned to the agreed location and at the agreed time, no later than 5:00 p.m. on the final rental day.
  7. Late returns will incur additional charges. 
  8. Rental Payment: The full rental fee must be paid at the start of the rental period, either in cash or by card. This includes payment for non-consecutive rental days.
  9. Refund Policy: No refunds are provided for early returns, so please plan your rental dates accordingly.
  10. Client Responsibilities:
    • The Client must use the bicycles responsibly and adhere to local traffic laws at all times, especially safety regulations.
    • The Client is liable for any personal or material damages caused to others.
    • In the event of an accident, the Client must collect details from those involved, including insurance information, and inform TEMPO CYCLE HUB SL promptly by calling (+34) 681 88 18 44. The Client should document the incident in writing on the original rental contract.
    • The Client must return the bicycles in the same condition as they were hired. Any damages or theft will incur charges at the retail price.
  11. Insurance Coverage: TEMPO CYCLE HUB SL. holds civil responsibility insurance which both Parties accept as the maximum liability for accidents and personal or property damage…………
  12. Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes arising from this rental agreement will be submitted to the Courts of Palma de Mallorca, with both Parties waiving any other court jurisdiction.

Private Guiding Terms & Conditions

  1. Service Overview: Our private guiding service provides personalized cycling experiences tailored to your preferences and skill level.
  2. Booking and Payment:
    • All bookings must be made in advance. A deposit of 50% will be required to secure your guide.
    • Payment is due in full 72hs prior to the start of the guided tour.
  3. Cancellation Policy:
    • Cancellations made more than 10 days before the scheduled guiding will be charged 30% of the total fee.
    • Cancellations made less than 10 days prior will be charged 50% of the total fee.
    • Cancellations within 48 hours of the start time and no-shows will be billed at the full rate.
  4. Weather Conditions: Guidings are subject to weather conditions. If adverse weather affects safety, we may reschedule or cancel. You will be notified as soon as possible.
  5. Participant Responsibility: Participants must ensure they are in suitable physical condition for the guiding. It is the participant’s responsibility to inform the guide of any medical conditions or concerns prior to the guiding.
  6. Equipment: Participants are responsible for providing their own bikes and necessary gears. If bike rentals are needed, arrangements must be made in advance.

  8. Liability Waiver: All participants may be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the start, acknowledging the inherent risks of cycling and releasing the guide from any liability.
  9. Conduct: Participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow the guide’s instructions throughout the guiding. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate behavior.

Van Support Terms & Conditions

  1. Service Overview: Our cycling van support provides assistance during your self-guided ride including transportation of equipment, supplies, and day-by-day mechanical issues that might occur during the ride. Bikes provided by the client must be in ideal conditions for the ride.
  2. Booking and Payment: Van support must be booked in advance. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your service.
  3. Cancellation Policy:
    • Cancellations made less than 10 days prior will be charged 50% of the total fee.
    • Cancellations within 48 hours of the start time and no-shows will be billed at the full rate.
  4. Liability: We are not responsible for any personal injuries or losses incurred during the ride. Participants are responsible for their own safety and must adhere to all local traffic laws.
  5. Equipment Responsibility: All bikes and personal equipment must be properly secured in the van. We are not liable for any damage or loss of equipment that is not secured. 
  6. Liability for Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings during the ride. Participants are encouraged to secure their belongings properly.

  7. Alterations to Service: Any changes to the agreed service, including location or schedule, must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Extra fees may apply based on the distance of the new meeting point.
  8. Conduct: All participants are expected to behave respectfully and courteously. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate behavior.
  9. Weather Conditions: Van support is subject to weather conditions. We will inform you of any potential cancellations or changes due to adverse weather.
  10. Time Conditions: The service starts at the meeting point time, and finishes at the end point (ex, hotel – hotel).

Bike rental Cancellation

Cancellation Policy: All bike reservations are subject to the following cancellation terms:

  • Cancellations made more than 5 days prior to the start of your rental will incur no charges.
  • Cancellation Fees:
    • 5 to 2 days before the rental: 75% of the total rental cost.
    • Within 2 days or no-show: 100% of the total rental cost.

Please note that exceptions to these terms cannot be made for any reason, including curtailments.

Private/Group Guiding Cancellation

Cancellations made up to 10 days prior to the scheduled guiding start time will be charged with 30% of the total fee. An administration fee may apply.

For cancellations made less than 10 days before the start time, a fee of 50% of the total price will be charged. Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour start time and no-shows will be billed at the full rate.
Please note that if any bikes were rented and/or van support was arranged, the full charges for those services will also apply.

Van Support Cancellation
